FREE Summer Picnic

August 22 at 6:00 pm

Mifflinburg Park

Bring a covered dish to share.  Main dish, drinks and paper products will be provided.

“Let the Fourth of July always be a reminder that here in this land, for the first time, it was decided that man is born with certain God-given rights; that government is only a convenience created and managed by the people, with no powers of its own except those voluntarily granted to it by the people. We sometimes forget that great truth, and we never should. Happy Fourth of July.”

— Ronald Reagan, 40th President of the United States

As we celebrate the flag of our great country, let us be reminded that representative government requires attentiveness to the rule of law and the Biblical charge to, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”  Praying for all those injured preparing for the bi-partisan charity baseball game.

Polling places open at 7 am tomorrow for the 2017 Municipal Primary.  They remain open until 8 pm.

This is an important election for local, county and statewide races.  Please cast informed votes.
