Our prayer on this 247th anniversary of American freedom:  May Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness be restored.

A resolution to highlight our constituents’ priorities. 

WHEREAS, Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell recently stated, “Providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat Russia is the NUMBER ONE priority for the United States right now according to most Republicans”, and

WHEREAS, this statement does not reflect the everyday concerns of average Republicans,

Be it resolved: The UCRC recognizes our constituents’ priorities include the following issues that take precedence rather than the reckless funding of Ukraine.

1: Securing the U.S. borders from illegal immigration, human trafficking, and the drug cartels.

2: Combating urban violence and ending lax prosecution of criminals.

3: Combating inflation.

4: Expanding domestic energy production of natural gas and oil.

5: Negotiating or recognizing a peace settlement to the Ukraine-Russia war by leadership.
